Send email attachment from Briefcase?

Is there a way for users to conveniently send files from Zimbra briefcase to external email users (without giving them access rights to the users briefcase directly)? If not, they will have to download the file to their local harddisk and attach it to send out again. Doesn't make sense right?

btw, I notice that this has been fixed on ver 5.00, but the briefcase tab is not even shown on our zimbra client of higher version. Why is this so?

It's not fixed in Version 5, That's when it was reported. Check the last comment in the bug report and when it's scheduled to be implemented in the Product Portal. Please note that fixed does not mean implemented, clicking on the 'link' resolution will take you to this page: A Bug's Life Cycle.
