Code:
http://username:password@mail.mydomain.com/home/username@mydomain.com/Calendar.html

Caveats:

1. Your password is sent in plain text.

2. Firefox gives you a little 'OK?' popup box asking if you really want to log into mydomain as username.

3. This won't work in modern versions of Internet Explorer unless you change the value of a registry key.

Hello SPF,

Thank you for your reply. Indeed it works with FF and not with IE as explained. Could you specify how to modify the egistry key in order to make it running with IE please?

Regards.

Try this..

How to disable the new default behavior for handling user information in HTTP or HTTPS URLs
To disable the new default behavior in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer, create iexplore.exe and explorer.exe DWORD values in one of the following registry keys and set their value data to 0.

* For all users of the program, set the value in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME _PASSWORD_DISABLE
* For the current user of the program only, set the value in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME _PASSWORD_DISABLE

Internet Explorer does not support user names and passwords in Web site addresses (HTTP or HTTPS URLs)

Default connect to Zimbra with known credentials...

Hi,

I'd like to connect to Zimbra with known credentials. Does anybody know a means to achieve this?

1- impossible to pass them by the url with IE7,8
2- seem stricky to use phpicalendar lib to do this.

Any suggestion will be warmly welcomed.
