Sticky IM msg Windows?

I remember the web IM client having a sticky button. Was this removed or something? Now the window goes to every tab and is irritating if you just want to keep it in the IM tab. Anybody have any ideas how to make them stick?

If you mean the 'pin' button that would pin it to all the tabs that behaviour has changed in current releases and it's in all the tabs by default.

Is there a reason they removed it. Seems like a step backwards. I suppose I will post another bug on bugzilla. I find it odd they would remove a feature like that and keep the IM window everywhere. It gets in the way even if you minimize it. It seems like keeping the pin button in case you actually wanted to see the window while reading mail would have been a better thing to do.

It doesn't typically get in the way when minimized:


Of course that was when we used to accidentially duplicate the last few emails of the page, on the first of another.

However, when we no longer did that as bad - once you expanded a bunch you couldn't rejoin or hide, (plus we had removed unpin/unsticky).
