Default self forward

zimbra should not allow a stupid admin to configure an account as forward of himself and (further) to check "don't keep a copy of messages"

postfix of course block the recursion, but still it's should be checked, at least a warning popup should be shown

...imho...

Issues such as this are best researched in bugzilla or opening a support case. For future reference you can vote on this: Bug 35806 – Able to keep "Don't Keep a local copy of messages" after removing the forwarded address. then open a support case and get it attached to that bug report for added weight.
