iCal/iSync invitations blank in Zimbra Webmail

A colleague sent me an invitation using iCal with iSync running and all I can see is an empty appoint in Zimbra webmail with the Accept, Tentative and Decline options as per the following screen cap:



However, if he sends me an invitation using Zimbra webmail it looks normal and I'm able to understand the time, location and purpose of the meeting. I believe that his account is fine since it works in webmail. Any ideas on what to look at in iCal to better understand what the problem is with iCal? Thanks.

It's because all the information you get from a zimbra made calendar event is done by zimbra when it's making the email. If you were to open the same 2 mails in eg. thunderbird they would look the same.

Some would argue that it's iCal's fault that it can't be customized to change the outgoing email...
