Question Multipart messages in web-client

One send long multipart split message to someone.

POP3-client combined all parts into whole and someone got normal message.
But in someone's web-mailbox he can see only separate partial messages without the possibility to look into message's contents.

How to teach web-client shipped with ZCS-OSE to combine multipart messages?

Thank you.

Yeah... well... because of no support available, ZCS will be shut down in few month: it works awfully

Why don't you search bugzilla and see if there's any bug report filed, if not then file one. That's the correct place for bug reports.

Honestly, I tried! But it seems to be not a bug for Zimbra personnel.

edit: I found one exactly the same bug. And it was filed on October 2007.

More, it is not a bug really. I don't know proper English term, something like "slightly incomplete job which does not disallow usage and visible to very small amount of users".

Speaking formally, multipart message is the set of separate messages. And I'm not sure if other web-clients take proper mail headers in account. But it was the reason to reject Zimbra Desktop - it have the same "under-feature".

And, as stated commenter in bugzilla, "people have to fire up outlook express to reassemble the
message/partial segments".

Well, you should vote for that bug and add your details to it and file one for Zimbra Desktop if this feature is important to you. The resolution for that bug is not targeted until the next but one major release of Zimbra.

Already voted, even before editing "last complaint"
But what can I add to bug comments? Only "it is also a problem for me"? Wrote few words, but this bug is very old...

I don't understand your point, without people commenting on the bug and adding their vote for it the assumption will be that it's not a major problem and get a low priority. Bugzilla is the correct place to comment on problems and enhancement requests.

Bill,

Do not pay an attention.

As I already told, I vote for that bug, and then edited the message about "no support - then shut down".

I voted and wrote a comment in bugzilla. But it is only 2nd or 3rd comment since October-2007...
