Zimbra 6.0 Roadmap

There's some exciting stuff in the Zimbra 6.0 Roadmap that Zimbra has posted. One glaring omission is read receipts and delivery reports which is by far the most requested missing feature.

I was somewhat concerned about this because at the same time someone commented that the feature had been pushed to 6.5 and the RFE was marked as private.

Anand Palaniswamy from Zimbra quickly responded that this was in error and that this was still slated for 6.0. However, it's a little bit of a concern that such a widely requested feature failed to show up in the roadmap document.

The 'roadmap' is a general overview document, do check the bug reports and Product Portal for details of which release of Zimbra bugs/RFEs are targeted. I don't really think the full list of bugs & RFEs will fit on the Roadmap document.

Yeah but what i think the OP is getting at is you'd expect the most requested feature would be listed in the road map if it was included rather then being forgotten about.

Correct. I'm happy to see that there's some discussion about implementation going on now. So work on the feature is under way.
