Does Zimbra fit our needs?

Hello,

I'm new to Zimbra and did some evaluation using the online demo. There are some points I would like to know which I don't find in the documentation and can't check with the online demo.

We have 4 users here, one is a secretary using the "info@" address. The boss (which has an own address) must have access to this mailbox, too. Is this possible?

Is it possible to make contacts available to others, but not public to all? E.g. the secretary and the boss are using shared contacs, which can't be accessed by the other two.

And last but not least: Our mail is done on a single server (Linux, Postfix, using MySQL database with account information for virtual users, accessible via POP3 and IMAP). Zimbra should run on an own server and receiving and sending mail should stay on our mail server. Is this possible?

Zimbra include Postfix, MySQL, OpenLDAP, Tomcat, etc to it would replace your entire current mail setup. Seems from your post you were just looking to deploy the Web UI. At this time you can't do that and must deploy Zimbra as a whole.

Today in Zimbra to share mailboxes you need to use an IMAP client like Thunderbird. We don't have shared contacts today but we will be adding it in an upcoming release.
