Can I stop "Resources" from sending email accepting appointments?

Our receptionist will schedule an appointment on a calendar that somebody has shared with her. She selects the location which is a resource "conference" The resource is set to auto-accept appointments unless busy.

For every appointment the receptionist makes for a shared calender, the resource sends her an email accepting the apppointment.

The email says it is
sent by conference@company.com
to receptionist@company.com
attachments meeting.ics

The body of the email

conference has been scheduled for your appointment.
