Message truncation

Today I received an email that seemed to just stop in mid sentence while viewing in the web client. This is against a 5.0.9 server. I connected to the server via IMAP using Kmail and I was able to see the entire message. This is the second time I have observed this behavior in the web client. Has this been addressed in newer versions?

I suppose the question might be, has it been reported in bugzilla? It would help if you gave some details of which browser(s) you've tried and on which operating systems, whether clearing the browser cache resolve the problem and whether there are any browser add-ins that may cause the problem. You might also want to check the email itself to see if there's anything different about the ones that cause the problems.

Was the email text or HTML ? If you were to forward the email via another application and view in ZWC does it show correctly ? If the email could be made available to a mod or Z! employee that would help so we could test ourselves.

In this particular instance no it hasn't been posted to Bugzilla yet. I thought I would see if anyone else had seen it before I went and added yet another bug entry. I have reported truncation previously in this bug:

Bug 33949 – When emailing to a list, last users email truncated.

Truncation when it occurs does not matter which browser or OS you look at the message. Clearing cache does not help and there are no add-ins. In this case, I would consider the latest instance to be worse than the instance reported above as in this case there was no clue that something might have gone wrong, the messge just stopped. The message was composed in HTML and sent to me from a Yahoo! mail account. Unfortunately I have trashed the email.. I will try to reproduce on my own and submit as a new bug.

The message is still truncated when viewed with FF 3.0.5 on Linux and Windows. And IE6 on Windows. But still readable in Kmail.
If I open the message in Kmail and forward it to myself it is then readable in Zimbra. **
