Zimbra Web "Instant Messaging" feature

Pretty much everyone these days has used Yahoo Chat, MSN chat, etc etc.

From a corporate perspective some questions are being asked of me regarding the zimbra "Instant Messaging" feature that I am no where near qualified to ask.

Does the IM feature support video?
Does the IM feature support voice?
Does the IM feature support file transfer?

If no, are these features on the product road map? The features requested are real features really required by true distribuited organizations.

I don't know about the roadmap, but
1) No.
2) No.
3) No.

3 isn't really needed I think due to the Documents and Briefcase features.
I don't know if the other two are really needed either. Sounds like you are looking
for a swiss army knife communications server and I just have to say that the load of all those services running on one machine would be tremendous. Not that it couldn't be done, but it would be a real animal. Personally I'd keep hardcore communications like Video /Voice on a separate system. There is some level of integration with Asterisk servers I believe. Maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in.
