Default [SOLVED] Cannot write anything composing in html using IE

Hi all, using IE6 or IE7 with standard client (ajax), with Zimbra 5.0.9 or 5.0.10 it's impossible to compose messages, write or modify documents or compose signature composing using html. Composing as text works fine, using firefox is ok, all is working.

Someone has already solved this problem???

Thank You

I use the ajax client (standard).

No error was displayed by IE.

I noticed that the cursor is blinking very very fast and if i press a key the letter appear for a moment in the box and then it disappear.

Curious to know exactly what version - type this into the AJAX web-client search bar:
Code:
$set:get version

Default Version information

Client Information

Client Version: 5.0.9_GA_2533.RHEL4
Client Release: 20080814121143
Build Date: 20080814-1217

---------------------------------

Here the information you requested. I believe that is a client (IE) issue i cannot find a solution yet. With the latest zimbra version 5.0.10 on RHEL5 the issue is the same.

Thank you in advance.

No, a proxy is not used at all.

The server is on the same subnet as the client. Firefox is working fine. I need also IE to work.

Default News about the issue.....

I have some news. Here is the case:

- On a pc that never accessed zimbra ajax client using IE, using an account that has no signature all is working fine.

- When you add a signature using plain text composing (in the signature) and add as default signature all is working fine.

- When you add a signature using html composing (in the signature) and add as default signature is impossible to compose a new message (cursor blinking very fast, if you press a key the letter appear after the signature and then disappear)

At this point, also deleting/disabling the signature or accessing another "fresh" account without signature the html composing is not working anymore. It seems like something dirty remained in IE. (I already tryed to clear IE cache history, restoring default settings etc. but nothing happens)

Bye

What language? (Better yet a 'zmprov ga user@domain.com > account.txt' output.)
This may seem like a crazy hunch that comes with Italian 8punti...
zmprov ma user@testdomain.com zimbraPrefHtmlEditorDefaultFontSize 12pt
Then refresh the browser.
