Default IMAP prefix for external account?

I have just installed Zimbra Collaboration Suite 5.0.10 GA open source version installed on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS running as a guest operating system using Parallels Server on OSX 10.5 server. Install went well and mail is flowing in/out. However, I'd like to add an external IMAP account to a user's account. I can do it, but I get mailboxes showing all files and folders within the external account directory. I see no place to specify the IMAP prefix path for the Mail directory. How can I focus Zimbra on just the Mail directory?

Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forums

Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to specifiy the prefix path. Therefore you may wish to vote for :-

Bug 21089 - Mail: Imap external account: Need ability to select/deselect imap folders
Bug 30716 - manage external IMAP folder subscriptions

This is an old post, so I don't know if it is still valid or not. Been searching the forums with little luck so far to find anything dealing with an IMAP prefix.

Anyhow, the request here is different than the 2 bugs listed for voting. Those two deal with subscriptions, not an IMAP prefix path.

Has any effort been undertaken to support specifying an IMAP prefix path in Zimbra Desktop? Without this, it becomes quite troublesome to use Zimbra Desktop with any providers that use a custom prefix.
