no Tahoma in preferences

I have the Tahoma font in the compose windows text editor, but no Tahoma in preferences > composing where i can set it as default.

Any ideas why this is the case?

might be due to licensing restrictions. apparently Tahoma is a microsoft font so probably can't be used in open-source applications.

i don't believe thats the case because Tahoma is in the compose text editor in zimbra. It just isn't in the preferences menu, which is weird.
