Searching in multiple fields for the same string

Hi,

We're evaluating Zimbra at the moment, and we have been trying to figure out whether or not it is possible to construct a default search string that does the following:

subject:stringA or from:stringA

BUT we want it in a manner like this :

(subject or from):stringA so that you only enter the search string once.

Now obviously the above syntax doesn't work, what are my options ?
