Tasks and Today
Just a couple questions that i can't find an answer for when I search the forum.
1. Is there an option to display just today's tasks? Right now my only work around is to tag a task with a date and then show just that tag, but that means I would have to create a tag for every day of the calendar. That would be a lot of tags to manage.
2. In my inbox I can sort by "date" and "subject" but not "from". Am I missing something or is this an intended non-feature?
3. Are there any plans to have a "Today" display or tab so I can see tasks and calendar items just for today?

You absolutely should be able to sort by the "From" column in your Inbox. Click on the "From" heading once and you get alphabetical A-Z; click again and you get the reverse. What are you seeing when you do this? The only somewhat related issue that I am aware of is you cannot sort by the "To" column in the Sent folder. I believe there is an open bug on this one, but if I remember correctly it was unlikely to be fixed due to the performance issues it may cause.
As far as the "Today" part of your question, I'm going totally off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure there were discussions in the forums, wiki, and/or blogs about a "dashboard" welcome screen. I think this may address what you are looking for, but I haven't seen much about it for a while.

:confused: Well, I've tried this test in both standard and advanced settings. I can sort subject and received. Works like a charm. I do get a mouse-over icon as if there is a clickable link for "from". When i click on the "from" bar nothing happens. I'm a mac user and tried this in irefox and Safari, but our entire office is having this issue using the web portal version with PC too. I can't imagine this would be an option to turn on on the server side would it? We are using Ver. 5.0.5.

I have precisely the same problem. Sort by From as well as by tag (and most other things) do not work.
Use ZImbra desktop on Mac Leopard. 0.90 build 1278
