given: firstname.lastname@example.org is an alias for email@example.com
when someone sends an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com will receive the email in their inbox, and the 'to:' field will show that the email is firstname.lastname@example.org. (the expected / desired behavior)
however sharing and chatting do not preserve this behavior, for example:
user2 shares something with email@example.com, but when looking at the shared account user2 now sees that it is shared with firstname.lastname@example.org instead (the alias was rewritten by zimbra somewhere down the line)
the same thing happens with chatting. if user2 adds email@example.com, eventually firstname.lastname@example.org will show up in the buddy list instead of email@example.com
am i missing an option somewhere to turn off this forceful rewriting of aliases, or can this be considered a bug that is worth considering?
