Default carbon copy on Appointments/"optional" vs. "required"

I've had a question posed to me that I cannot seem to figure out, and didn't find anything in the forums or bugzilla...

Some users are used to (on our previous groupwise system) CC'ing managers on an group appointment - in that way, signifying that the manager's presence is not required, but in this way notifies them of some of their managed-staff are involved in this meeting.

So in Zimbra, how do you CC an appointment, or somehow distinquish between someone whose presence is required, and those whose presence is optional/informational? Is there a way, or is this an RFE that I didn't find (yet)?

thanks

Sorry for pushing this old thread.

We have a customer that comes from groupwise. They are missing the feature gnyce described.
Is there any known bug/rfe open for this? I didn't find anything.

For the few specific examples that we needed this, we configured a few accounts with an alias of "cc_USERNAME"... that way, at least the recipient had a visual cue that they were being CC'd and their presence was not required. A shame, that was a nice groupwise feature.

Don't know that there is a bug/rfe on it, I did not file one.

Bug 10192 – Adding attendees as mandatory or optional

Looks like this will be fixed/added in 6.0.6 (upcoming)
