HOW TO SYNCHRONIZE with iCAL!!!!!

I just need the instructions how can i synchronize my online profile in Zimbra with my iCal on the local machine... :(

You can import the Zimbra cal data in to ical with a REST URL. See these examples.

Yes, if you use CalDAV with iCal 3 it works well.

You can set this up either directly in iCal when you create a calendar, or the iSync connector will set it up for you. Note with the latter you probably want to be careful not to have iSync do *both* a CalDAV setup and also handle synching itself.

Hi all!

After many hopeless tryouts I found out there is a limitation between open source edition and all other editions.

As far as I understand - the ability to sync my iCAL with my ZCS Server is only available on the Professional Edition. :-(

So is there no way to sync calendar or meeting requests with a calendar system in zimbra Open Source Edition?

If yes, is there another open source solution? I don't want to buy Professional Edition only to be able to sync my calendar.

You're correct about iSync but CalDav is supported in open source. Note you must be running leopard (iCal 3). However you might be able to use webdav with publish/subscribe on older versions of iCal with Zimbra. Did you look at the link I posted?
