What happened to Right Click - Edit in mail

Some versions ago we used to be able to right click on an email (had to be specific where we right clicked), choose Edit, the email would go into edit mode and allow the user to send. We used this for resending mail in the absence of a resend option. Now the "Edit" option does not appear sending us back to a point where we can't resend an email. Have I missed something? Not sure when this option was removed. 5.0.6 F7 FOSS

Please see bug 28717 and vote for it. Apparently it was an unintended "feature" that came about sometime around the 5.0 release, and it was "fixed" in 5.0.6. Several people, myself and my users included, found this a very useful feature.

I went to comment on this bug and got "A legal Severity was not set." when committing. Here's what I trying to commit;

Yeh fix it by either bringing it back or giving us a working alternative. Seems daft to remove something that is obviously useful just for the sake of it.

Not sure about this one. I know they were doing maintenance to the bugzilla system this weekend; may be an issue with the new system.
