Default [SOLVED] Can't rename folder

When renaming a folder I get the errors message: "A folder or saved search with that name already exists. Please use another name." A folder of that name did exist but doesn't any more, so I presume it's an internal reference. How do I research the problem? This is an OSS install so I have full access.

Thanks,
adam

Hitting the 'F5' key in your browser should fix things.

Is there any chance you could file a bug on this?

another thing to check is that you don't have a calendar or contact group called the same thing. Since calendars and contact groups are folders to zimbra, if you have a calendar called like Friends and then try to create an e-mail folder called Friends I think it will pitch that error as well.

That's the problem alright bdial. Had the same problem when trying to create a notebook with the same name as an existing calendar. I think I'll report this as a bug, these should be stored with unique internal references and then linked to a public name.

BTW, you can rename the folder if you move it out of root.

Thanks,
adam

I don't know that I would call this a bug. Perhaps the error could be a bit more descriptive but it's really just a matter of design and I doubt you'll get any developer willing to undertake what you're talking about just to fix this.
