Default Browser saved login credential support

I don't know if it is by design or not. But normally on sites with a suername and password field I can have Firefox save login information. When using the User or Admin login pages Firefox nor IE ask me if I want to save passwords. Is this a security feature by design?

I sometimes like to save logins and would be nice if this was supported. Maybe someone can give me some more info on how or why this is not working.

Just started using zimbra in a production domain with users, hope it goes well. I really like the installation and management ease so far.

We disable it for security reasons.
