[SOLVED] Signature Size Limit

I thought I saw that it was possible to allow more than the 1024 character limit in email signatures. How can we do that?!

What version are you running? If you don't know you can find out by entering "$set:get version" in the search box.

I am able to set a very long signature in 5.0.6, but 5.0.2 limits me to 1024 characters.

5.0.4 is my version. Do you know if this version can change signature size limit?

I doubt that any modification would be simple, if at all possible. Your best bet would be to upgrade.

Oh, I thought I saw something that just required an admin setting change, not a modification!

It's in 5.0.4:
su - zimbra
zmprov mc default zimbraMailSignatureMaxLength 2048
(where default=COS name)

per user:
zmprov ma user@domain.com zimbraMailSignatureMaxLength 2048

It's also exposed in the admin console gui user or cos > preferences > maximum length of mail signature as well Bug 17615 - expose zimbraMailSignatureMaxLength.

Nope, my apologies, I see the setting under the Class of Service. Preferences, in the Sending Mail section.
