Default How does sharing work?

I wanted to experiment around with sharing, but I am having some difficulty understanding how it works.

I see that one can share things like addressbooks, calendars, and email folders.

But it is not clear to me how someone actually uses them?

In other words, if UserS shares AddressBookA with UserB, how does UserB use it?

I would have User B go into his address book, right click on the Address Book heading and select link to shared Address Book. Then User A's address book will show up in the list of User B's Address Books.

Just like they would their own address book, shows up in the left folder tree.

If both parties are using the ZWC much easier to 'send the standard email' then click 'accept' just above the email header area, but link to shared works too.

Sometimes I can be dense but I don't see an accept button. When I send a standard e-mail for a share notice.

There's one or two bugs floating around on it not displaying, but when working it will be just above the email like:

Not showing up for me. I'll experiment with diferrent browsers and OS's to see if I can figure why it's not showing up in my Web Client.

Thanks again Mike.

Default Solution?

Is there a solution to these one or two bugs? A workaround?

Sharing is a major reason for taking Zimbra on.... If it doesn't work properly... or I have to workaround every time my customer is trying to use it as described it will get very expensive....

Default Frustrating

Just to follow on. This is VERY VERY Frustrating, it doesn't work on Firefox 3 or 2. IE 7 or 6. Desktop or Outlook Connector. I could of just used Courier-IMAP and had the same functionality as zimbra in its current state, perhaps even more predictable.

To top it off, I'm going to spend the next two hours trawling through the forums for find out why the outlook connector doesn't connect to the Global Address List either. I see posts on this share thing from 2 years ago. Why not fixed?

Sharing works great. If there is no accept button on the sharing invitation E-mail sent, all you have to do is manually connect to the share. For instance, sharing a calendar just requires the user to right click on the Calendar header and click connect to shared calendar from the menu that comes up.

It's really quite simple and works well.

Default Sharing No Go

Thanks for your reply Bill...

I've shared a folder with a user. The user recieves the email with No Accept or Decline Button, how do I right click on a folder I can't see?

I'm yet to play with sharing calendars. We're trying to get Accounts and Admin to share a folder for electronic invoices.
