I've seen mention of Zimbra Toaster, is this an officially supported product?

Where do I get it?

Can it handle mailto:// links in web pages or embedded in PDF's?

Is this no longer true for the Mac? We currently have a 5.0.5 server in production and a 5.0.11 server in test and we cannot find this installer in this location on either (though the Windows version and other files are there).

Where else might I get the Toaster for Mac?

On both FOSS & NE 5.0.11 I find zimbra-toaster-5.0.3_GA_144.MACOSX_UB.dmg (seems we haven't updated the included build in a while).
You can also grab it via the support portal > utility downloads section.

Does this work with Vista? I'm having a wonderful time trying to figure out why Outlook keeps popping up, even after installing the Toaster and manual entries noted here (Default Mail Applications (mailto reprised) » Zimbra :: Blog).

Nevermind - local browser was overriding to Outlook. I redirected it to the Toaster and all is well. But now I'm wondering what would happen if I had no Toaster?
