Deleting all the information in a calendar

I have some users who would like to delete all data within a calendar. Normally, I would just have them delete the calendar then re-create it. But several of them have the data in the default calendar, which cannot be deleted. Is there a way to delete everything in the calendar at once without going through by hand and doing so?
