Am I missing the option to rename a briefcase?

Welcome to the forums

You can rename a briefcase that you have created by right click->edit properties.

I have attached a screenshot. There is no rename button,etc..

Yes, that is the default Briefcase which you cannot rename. You would need to create your own if you wished to do that.
