Default Mail routing

Hi I'm wondering how I can configure for the following:

Some users on Zimbra server, rest of the users on another non-Zimbra mail server. Both group of users belong to the same mail domain.

How do we configure Zimbra server to route mails that are meant for users hosted on the non-Zimbra server?

On some mails server, they have a simple setting that says forward mails to server xxx if users don't exist. Does Zimbra have similar settings?

that question has been answered several times - there's a sticky post on it in the admin forum.

Default Mail routing

Hi Marcmac,

Thanks for pointing to the admin sticky post.

However after reading thru the sticky post, I can't help but feel that it seems unduly complex and still don't know where to configure zimbra such that:

the user1@example.com on zimbra server to be able to send mails to user2@example.com that is on a non-zimbra mail server. Instead of getting a bounce that the user does not exist.

Ah...

I think I see the light in the Slave configuration... I'll try it out tomorrow morning...

Thanks again.
