How to use tasks

Hi,

I would like to know how to assign tasks to other users in the team and get feed back on the task at the end of the day I did not see a perfect way in zimbra to manage tasks. Can any one help or documentation will also be of great help.

I have a team and I am TL, I have to assaign taks and get feed back on the task.

You can currently share a folder of tasks with your group & put name in the subject, or if someone gives you manager access to one of their tasks lists you could enter info on theirs.

That's what we do; we all share out our Tasks folders (we have a few different categories) to everyone who would need to assign a Task to us.

Works fine!

I selected to share a new task list, it shows a url to send along, but when the other user tries to open it, they a link to an ICAL.....?
Is this correct? Am I doing something wrong?

Found it, you must "Link to Shared Task List" by right clicking.

As it seems both parties are using the ZWC you could also just 'send the standard message' when you share & then hit 'accept' above the email message.
