Firefox, and Zimbra desktop unusable since upgrade

Just did an upgrade to 5.0.5 Now I can not access the server using firefox, safari, or zimbra desktop. It just sits there and spins trying to load the applet. In the Desktop, I get an error that is something like "Read timeout involked"

The web client worked perfectly before the update, any ideas?

its really weird in that if I use my vpn to get inside my corporate network, things work fine, but only on this one machine do I have problems connecting directly. Ideas??????
