Outlook mapi Sync

I've just installed ZImbra network edition for one of my customer and i have installed outlook mapi sync in order to share calendars....
Everything ok except that once I have read a mail on my outlook, it is steal present on my webmail.
How can i do in order that it behave like a pop mail server?
I mean that once i have downloaded my mails on my outlook client i don't need theme anymore on the server.

By default Outlook doesn't delete the mail from the server, it will stay there the same as if you'd used IMAP. If you really want to delete the mail from the server then follow the instructions here. I would really advise deleting mail from the server, one day a user will come to you and say.... I've lost all my email please get it back for me.

Has i have installed the outlook connector for zimbra, the outlook menu is not the same has the one that is shown on the link you gave me.

It is not possible to choose to leave or not a copy of the message on the server.

please help...
