Default [SOLVED] suddenly not getting emails...and seeing error

Hi.

I just noticed that we are not receiving emails today. nothing changed, everything has been working fine until a couple hours ago.

i tried checking the admin, and I'm getting an error when i go to mail queues:

Message: system failure: exception during auth {RemoteManager: mailhost.toqen.com->zimbra@mailhost.toqen.com:22}
Error code: service.FAILURE
Method: ZmCsfeCommand.prototype.invoke
Details:soap:Receiver

Probably not the cause of your mail delivery issues but in order to view your queue again - assuming you're using the standard ssh port:
1. Check /etc/sshd_config and be sure it's set to 22
2. stop/start/restart sshd
Code:
/etc/init.d/ssh restart
3. su - zimbra
4. Be sure zimbra's ssh port is set to 22
Code:
zmprov ms server.domain.com zimbraRemoteManagementPort 22
5. Generate new ssh keys
Code:
cd /opt/zimbra/bin/
./zmsshkeygen
6. Deploy the keys
Code:
./zmupdateauthkeys
To test this, you can run the following command:
Quote:
ssh -vi .ssh/zimbra_identity -o strictHostKeyChecking=no zimbra@server.domain.com -p 22
-Shouldn't prompt you for a password at this point...then check the admin console mail queues area/servers/certificates.
If you continue to get that error please see this doc for some more ideas Mail Queue Monitoring - Zimbra :: Wiki

i have ssh disabled for a couple months now to avoid minimize risk of getting jacked... does that have an effect? coz ssh has been disabled for months now, and the issue only started today.

btw i'm still using the version before 5. am i missing a lot of new features?
is it easy to upgrade without screwing anything??

btw, any ideas how i can check where the issue is? zimbra server has been running fine for months without issue. and i checked named and dns settings and all are correct.

thanks mmorse. I'm able to view queue now.

Looks like i have 55 deferred emails on the tab, but I don't see any on the summary/filter boxes below. and it says scan progress but it is not moving. And I noticed that antivirus is not runnign, as it has an X mark beside it. how do i restart it?

i have attached a screenshot

What version of ZCS is this?
zmcontrol stop
tail -f /var/log/zimbra.log & at the same time tail -f /opt/zimbra/mailbox.log
zmcontrol start
List of logfiles
Might be good to examine the clamav logs as well.

[SOLVED] Clamd.pid - no such file
[SOLVED] Queue Temporarily Suspended - can't connect to 127.0.0.1

You're really gonna have to stop it at somepoint, I would seriously suggest 4.5.11 before you jump to 5.0.4
(Things to speed it up include running the db integrity check ahead of time etc.)
4.5.11 & 5.0.2 Released!
5.0.4 is live!
Read the release notes & make a backup!
