Default Create a link while composing e-mail

Am I daft, or is this not an easy thing to do in the AJAX client? I want to create a link in an e-mail I'm composing, but cannot find a way to do it, or any forum threads, wiki docs, Google results, etc for guidance?

I want to create a link like

this,

which was created with this forums "Insert link" button, as opposed to

http://www.zimbra.com.

Which was simply typed in.

I briefly switched to the HTML client and found an "Insert link" button, but there's no such button on the e-mail editor's formatting toolbar.

Welcome to the forums,
Please vote for Bug 5419 - HTML Compose does not have 'Create Link' option

Right now you can use the 'insert link' option in a notebook doc, then copy it to an email message.

In 5.0RC2 we added a WYSWYG editor to the standard (HTML) web-client, that RFE is to add more formatting options for the advanced (AJAX) web-client HTML compose.

Right, that's what I meant when I said I found the button in the HTML version. Can't imagine why it's not already in the AJAX version, but I'll vote for it in a minute when I get my Bugzilla password.

Thanks.
