Also, I still dont think there is a way to not block encrypted archive emails .... something that has made one of our accounting firms pretty unhappy.

I haven't tried but what if you uncheck the "Block Encrypted Archives" option under AS/AV?

this has made it impossible to use Zimbra for my law clients.

It's kinda late in the 5.0.x game (especially since 5.5 is Q3.. or so I think I saw somewhere, could be wrong) but since you're a paying customer, you can have a support ticket added to that bug, if you haven't already. Voices with money behind them yell louder than those without.

Read receipts are slated for 5.5 which shows as a Q4 target.

Agreed, that's the same way I felt! I've always used read receipts internally extensively. Lets me know how 'on top of their email' my coworkers are, and if I'm falling somewhere on their backburner, priority-wise. If someone doesn't read my email for days or weeks, I know that I will need to call them if I have a question, and that they're not necessarily ignoring me.

This has been on Zimbra's back burner for over 2 years now! 2 years!

Please also remember a lot of people block read receipts as IMHO they are not part of the RFC. They are useful, but by the same token they are also not reliable. I would be concerned if a lawyer was relying on email and read receipts, especially as emails are not guaranteed for delivery anyway.

This is 1 of several reasons we block read receipts. This feature is of no benefit to our organization.
