I don't see anything about this particular issue...
When I mark a calendar event as Private, someone who has access to my calendar can still see the event (with the little lock icon), it shows the description of the event, and when you hover, it brings up the normal display box, with the notes, the attendees, etc. The only difference I see is that when you try to open the event it denies on the basis of being 'private.'
Now, this behavior doesn't seem very private to me. I would imagine that the description, details, and attendees to a private meeting should remain just that.. private.
Is this intended behavior? If so, I don't like it. I didn't see any bugs relating to this. The original RFE/bug is marked FIXED (
Bug 6460 - Enable shared calendar entries to be marked private ), and this one (
Bug 14265 - Support for private items ) seems a bit more generic.
Should I append this to 14265, or open a new bug?
