Question RSS authentication?

Any plans on adding authentication support to the RSS folders?
(I'm particularly interested in accessing basecamp projects).

You can now specify username and password in a RSS feed's URL:
http://username:password@hostname/...
This has been added to the mainline source; it's not present in the GA builds.
