Default Calendar sharing

After sharing a calendar, when a user goes to the URL, the browser wants to open an ics file instead of showing the calendar in the browser.

What am I missing here?

If I create a new calendar and tell it to sync with the shared calendar I get a message "url not reachable".

You just need to add a .html to the URL; the default is .ics so that is what you get if you don't add anything. Search the forums and the wiki for other options.
