Default 5.0.2 Network Advanced Date Search

Hi there ...

I upgraded to 5.0.2 yesterday (which worked really nice, good job guys! ...

the advanced date search function seems to be broken. I suppose it has something to do with the time format ...

Error is
Code:
2008-02-12 13:55:22,933 INFO [btpool0-105] [name=d.xxx@xxx.com;mid=48;ip=89.247.47.238;ua=ZimbraWebClient - FF2.0 (Mac)/5.0.2_GA_1975.U
BUNTU6;] SoapEngine - handler exception
com.zimbra.cs.mailbox.MailServiceException: Couldn't parse query: after:"8.2.08"
Code:mail.QUERY_PARSE_ERROR Arg:(curTok, STR, "8.2.08") Arg:(colNo, NUM, "8") Arg:(parserErr, STR, "INVALID_DATE")
date returns Tue Feb 12 14:05:34 CET 2008

Any ideas on how to fix this? Or should I file a bug?

Thanks in advance

Are you saying that you've search for this date string: after:"8.2.08" - if you have then that's not the correct format. Check this article on the wiki for the correct date format. If that's not what you've done then a more comprehensive description of the problem might help.

Hi Bill

no, that after:"14.2.08" string is created automatically when I open up advanced search and click on the "Search by date" icon.

So I assumed that the "Search by date" thingy somehow uses the wrong date format. The log string I posted earlier is what I found in mailbox.log ... the client gives me "Seach request could not be analysed".

Any ideas?

I think you should file that as a bug, if I use the advanced client with German (I assume that you have the language set?) then I get the same problem.
