Default American Date Format Again

Come on guys there are other countries in the world. Tasks show American date format, creating appointments are the same, so are email dates. What does choosing English-British actually do? Funny thing is, I thought it actually did do something or has 5.0.2 broken it?

The 8th Feb 2008 should show 8/2/2008 for us, you would be surprised how difficult it is for us to read the other way round. My testers are complaining.

F7, 5.0.2

Indeed it is. In the meantime does anyone know if there is a quick fix I can perform? Is there a file that I can change from mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy and all works OK just like the quick fix I did on the date zimlet?

Default Solved

Found a quick fix, modify;
/opt/zimbra/jetty-6.1.5/webapps/zimbra/WEB-INF/classes/messages/I18nMsg_en_GB.properties

Change the date formats to suit, restart everything (not sure if that is actually needed) and it worked for me.

We've not upgraded to 5.0.2 yet, still running 5.0.1 and the properties file shows correct date formatting for the UK. I'll recheck when we push 5.0.2 to the server.

I think it was an 5.0.2 upgrade thing, others users have reported the break on upgrade
