Chats folder not empty, but appears empty

My "Chats" folder is not empty. When I hover the cursor above it, it says I have 20 chats saved, taking 42 kb of storage. However, I cannot see the content of the folder. Other users can see the content of theirs.

I moved an expandable email from "Inbox" to "Chats" and it was the only item that could be seen.

I tried logging to my account both normally and through the admin page; same result.

Any ideas?
