Fantastic! the /tb trick works. All messages moved to Zimbra now appear properly in the web client.
Thanks!!
It worked for me too.
I successfully imported inbox.
When I import Send folder, Zimbra changes all "To" fields in web client to my name.
Can anybody confirm this behavior or suggest the workarround?
Should I report bug?
I'm trying to use imapsync to import some 200+ users from a Postfix+Courier setup into Zimbra.
I have everything sorted out except the dates issue. When I append /tb to the username in Evolution, I can login to the IMAP server, but it throws an authentication error when used with imapsync.
Any suggestions?
Does the /tb hack only work from an IMAP client like thunderbird/evolution? If so, how is imapsync treated?
The /tb hack is for Thunderbid client but you should be able to use it. Imapsync acts just like a client transferring data to Zimbra. Have you looked at the wiki & the forums for dates problemms when importing into Zimbra?

I have looked and looked, I figure that I just can't find the appropriate document so that's why I'm asking.
the /tb hack seems like the most reasonable thing to use. Anything else requires me to add headers (or something like that) to the messages being imported.
As I said, I can login using user@domain/tb from evolution, but it doesn't work from imapsync...
Has anyone else seen this?
Have you tried using quotes around your login id? Some details of the imapsync command looks like and any error messages thrown might help rather than 'it doesn't work'

Bill
The "/tb" hack does work from Thunderbird so I guess the question comes down to how imapsync connects to Zimbra. I'm not really sure why you're having a problem moving stuff to ZImbra, can you post the details of the exact command that's failing (without the /tb hack) and what the eror messages are?
Regards
Bill
what's the full imapsync command you're running? are you using the --syncinternaldates option?
edit: what version of imapsync? 1.2 breaks --internaldates
