Contacts birthdays and iphone sync

Hi,

my boss (using Outlook) fills in the birthday of his contacts which then generates a series of events in the calendar. This has been working fine so far.
Now he got an iphone and when he syncs the phone there are 2 problems:

- Outlook crashes (which seems to be a rather wide spread problem which I am trying to follow later)

- all calendar events for birthdays are in January, so the day stays correct but the month is changed to January. The data within the contacts stays correct.

Can this be Zimbra related?

As, in an attempt to "save" things, he resynced now the events in Outlooks calendar are wrong as well.
Do you have any idea how I can restore the events to the right dates (beside opening and changing any contacts birthday twice)?
A restore is out of question as too many mails dropped in afterwards.

Hi Christian,
It sounds to me like both of those things are iTunes/Outlook related. Have you looked on their discussion boards?

no I did not yet, but I will.

Any idea on getting the right dates back in via Zimbra? Outlook seems not to work from what I tested so far.
