Question Problems attaching iwork docs in webclient

For some reason the web client isn't letting me send messages when I attempt to attach iwork (pages and numbers) documents. The send button gives me an "x" when I hover over it.

Does anyone know whats up?

Ah iwork.

Apple has the strange packaging system which totally breaks the rules.
iWork documents are not really documents at all. They're folders with metadata. It just hides the fact that it's a folder.

Because of this, many people have commented on it in the apple forums.

Currently no mail provider, including Zimbra, supports attaching iWork files directly. You need to zip it first. There's a bug for this. Just search for iwork.
