Printing messages no longer prints images

After upgrading to v5, printing messages replaces images with their alt text. This seems like a good feature, but preferably an option. Any way to get pictures turned back on?
Just to clarify: images display fine in messages and I'm aware of the option that toggles it there. It's only when printing a message that the images are replaced with the alt text.

I've noticed this only occurs when in Conversation view. When in Message view, images are printed correctly.

I was able to repo this against 2 of my machines as well the hosted demo, could you file a new bug?
- Maybe something on the order of: "Print preview does not show images in conversation view"
-This works with or without 'Auto display external images in HTML mail' set in COS (some of the older bugs below just need the user to click 'display external images').
- This is of course different from css background images which are often browser dependent.
-Be sure to post a link back here so we know where it's at.
- Sorry if it gets closed as a dupe right away, I didn't see any open/recently closed that matched my searches.
