Default M3 Calendar all day events

I just upgraded from M2 to M3 (on Fedora 4) and am having a serious problem with the calender. The dates for new all day events are all goofy: if I set an all day event for Feb 3, it will show up on the UI as Feb 2 and 3. The tool tip shows the event as "Feb 2-Feb 2." This occurs in all the views (month, week, etc), and I tried to check using Sunbird to see about the ics--same problem.

All day events entered before the upgrade appear to be fine.

This sounds like it is related to Bug 5220, but it *is* different. Anyone else have this sort of problem?

this is related to a server-side timezone bug and is fixed for M4.

Default Ok

OK, great.

Um, wait--huh?

Oh, schemers thinks this is a known problem (fixed in M4) and tim brennan points to the bug number.

I see. At first I thought they disagreed.

Anyway, this is a big deal to us (making the ZImbra calendar nearly unusable). Can I do something manually to fix this one bug on my present system? Maybe recompile the affected file (//depot/main/ZimbraServer/src/java/com/zimbra/cs/mailbox/calendar/Invite.java?) and replace it? Or do I have to wait until M4?

I seem to be having the same difficulty, and it appears to be after this issue was long over (previous posts in this thread are dated January and its now August.)

I tried adding several all-day events, and they displayed fine. Then I added an all-day two day event. Since then, every other new all-day event is displaying incorrectly. For instance, I entered an all-day event for Halloween on 10/31. It shows up on the calendar appearing to block out both 10/30 and 10/31. The tool-tip display lists the event's When: 10/30 - 10/30.

The previous all-day events that were entered before this bug happened still display correctly.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bug then. Please file it in bugzilla with explicit instructions on how to recreate it and screenshots, don't forget to vote on it. Make sure it's not already filed but if you do file a new bug also refer it to this thread.
