Zimbra scrambles vietnamese messages

Hi guys,

I have a small problem with one of our customers. He writes as follows:

The email below is in Vietnamese., If it is forwarded to yahoo mail, and
Encoding set to Unicode (UTF-8) the text becomes readable. In Zimbra,
advanced or basic, selecting Encoding Unicode (UTF-8) has no effect.
If an email is written in Vietnamese to myself (using Zimbra), it is OK.
But incoming email in Vietnamese is not

Can you help?

I don't even have a clue where to start on this one. Any ideas whatsoever would be appreciated.

Yeah, I've got the same problem in sending and receiveing email in Vietnamese. Maybe Zimbra doen't support sending mail with unicode, does it? Can anyone help us to solve this problem?

Some details of your Zimbra version, a display original of the message, which operating system and a search of bugzilla to see if it's already been reported might help. Merely saying 'me to' or 'it doesn't work' without any information doesn't really help in debugging the problem.

After completely composing the email, I clicked Send button to send it to ng_trongduc@yahoo.com (I sent to myseft for easily checking). Then I checked my mail and got the result as below:

Please attach a "Show Original" of the message from your Zimbra Sent folder. Odds are that the problem is at the receiver's end (unable to handle utf-8 content)...

I tried to send a message with the same content using web mail, it's ok.

Find the message, right click on it in the message list at top, select "Show Original". Save the resulting window's contents to a text file (using the File > Save As menu item). Attach that file to a posting to this forum.
