Distribution list feature on the user level

I'm using OSS M3 version released in Dec 05 running on SLES9 box.

I notice that we can create a distribution list of the email addresses (i.e., we can create a myhome@xyz.com as a recipient address containing a group of email addresses to be broadcasted out to friends and families) in the Admin Console. Is there anyway that this feature will also be available on the user email account as well ?

The reason I ask for this feature is that sometimes not all the users of the email system would use the generic email list set by the administrator. Instead, most users love to have their own email distribution lists.
