Default How to know what many messages are in a folder

The folder tree shows show how many UNREAD messages are in a folder...is there a way to see how many total messages are in a folder?

No, there isn't unless you use an IMAP client such as Thunderbird. Just for my own interest, why would the number of messages be of any use?

We are doing some performance testing with thousands of messages in one folder. Just didn't know if there was a quick way from the GUI to see how many total messages were in a folder.

In 5.0, hovering over a folder will show you the number of messages in the folder and their total size.
