Default [SOLVED] Is there a way to mount other IMAP mailboxes?

Is it possible to mount other IMAP mailboxes under Zimbra other
than those hosted by the Zimbra mail server? I've read that one
migration method is to mount two mailboxes using T-bird to transfer between them. Does the Zimbra web client not have multi mailbox capability? That would be extremely handy.

Look in the Preferences/Accounts tab.

This problem seems to have returned.
All I am seeing again is Add Persona.
I have tried it from Firefox and IE and I verified at
the server that I am connected to the RC1 box. I also tried dumping my browser cache etc. My Beta 3 instance has now been deleted entirley so I know I'm not connecting to it.
Very odd.

Check the user/cos settings on external accounts.
Admin Console GUI > User Section> Features Tab > 'External POP3 Access' -If you disable this it will also remove the ability for external IMAP accounts in the web-client.

BTW 'mail identities' feature will be renamed 'persona' in RC2

If you had POP disabled it was Bug 21092 - Admin>COS>Features>External POP3 Access: unchecking this also removes External IMAP UI in mailclient. which has been fixed for RC2.

Admin>COS>Features>External POP3 Access: unchecking this also removes External IMAP UI in mailclient.

STEPS:
1. In adminconsole: UNCHECK: Admin>COS>Features>External POP3 Access
2. Log back into ajax client
3. Go to Preferences
4. Click on Accounts

Observed: Add External Account btn goes missing, so cant add either POP/IMAP accounts.

Expected: Only POP3 radio btn should be disabled.
From the opposite side of the problem-this was also fixed: Bug 19239 - User able to add external pop accounts even if "External POP3 Access" is disabled for the acc.

The template was not conditionalizing the display of the Add External Account or Add Persona buttons.
