Shared folders is exactly what I need by the looks of it. The concept is a bit different than allowing a single login to access multiple IMAP sources, but it should do the job.

I am on 4.5.7, so I'll have to wait until 5.0 goes gold (or slightly thereafter so some bugs can be shaken out).

It's not exactly like having a imap-client, it's really account aggregation.

Is that a 5.0 option. I can't find it under 4.5.7.

update: Ahhh, I see it is. I'll just wait for 5.0 then!

You probably want to avoid using the "External Account" feature, since it'll sync down copies of the support mail to bob's account. Shared folders are much more efficient.

But yeah, you're going to have to wait for 5.0.
